What Our Clients Have To Say

My husband (83) and I (73) recently sold the 4 bedroom/3 bath house we built and lived in for the past 26 years. Our children are adults and on their own and it was time for us to downsize. Having had both knees and both hips replaced as well as back surgery, an implanted pacemaker and other lesser surgeries, it became increasingly more difficult for this former athlete to tend to the house, pool and yard in his new role as the bionic man.

Since both of our daughters live in Tampa, this is where we planned to live out the final chapters of our lives. Tipped off by a friend, we watched with interest as construction progressed on Arbor Terrace, a senior living community. Given the expectations of the aging process, we were drawn to Arbor Terrace by the fact that assisted living and memory care facilities were already in place and had been operational for several years. Furthermore, a new independent emergency care room had just been built almost next door. (We and others who have used it can’t praise it enough). Now that Arbor Terrace was adding 139 independent living quarters in a variety of apartment choices of size and layout, we decided this was the right option for us. If one of us eventually needed assisted living care, there was no need to make moving arrangements again. We could both stay right here on the same campus. Being the first dwellers in a brand new apartment with new appliances and well-appointed décor was an attraction as well.

We have been here for two weeks now and were among the first to move in. The folks who have joined us come from many professional backgrounds and are friendly and interesting. A wide variety of services, events and activities are offered, subject to additions or changes as residents’ interests dictate. Transportation is offered for medical appointments, shopping, church services, etc. Interesting outings and activities are also offered for those who choose to participate. The staff here could not be more professional, friendly and accommodating.

The ladies from Pathfinders Downsizing Solutions were instrumental in helping us move through the various stages of the downsizing process. They have helped many of the other residents here, who all sing their praises. If I may be of any assistance to you or answer any questions as you ponder this daunting process, please feel free to contact me. Good luck!

Greeting Pathfinders,

As the CEO/Director of Caring For Girls Academy Inc., I would like to thank Pathfinders for a multitude of in-kind donations. C4G is a non-profit anti-sexual assault organization educating and promoting awareness of emotional, sexual and physical abuse. The Parasol of Hope Program was created as a direct result of a growing number of females in recovery from substance in need of a place to live to continue their work with their sobriety.

Women have different addiction recovery needs than men and that recovery processes should be gender-sensitive to address their unique needs. Women report more problems related to health and mental health, as well as more past trauma and abuse (physical and sexual). Women are more likely to begin using drugs after a specific traumatic event, and to suffer from post-traumatic stress disorder. Women experience higher levels of affective disorders, shame, depression, and anxiety.

Parasol of Hope is a home-like holistic environment for women in recovery. We insert continuous growth through education of the disease of addiction. The heart of sobriety is learning useful coping strategies to deal with everyday stress in a stressful world. It is required everyone participate in weekly individual and group coaching. Each female is given an individual care plan to devise reasonable life goals to enhance the individual’s life. We encouraged women to explore and experience different things to regain a healthier mind, body and spirit. Living at Parasol of Hope, women will experience compassionate care as well as stuff love.

Pathfinders because of your kind heart and generosity, Parasol of Hope will continue to serve women in recovery. Pathfinders have helped our mission by making in-kind donations of 2 TV’s, Large Dining Room Set, Living Room Set, 3 Dressers, Refrigerator, Deep Freezer, Stereo, 3 Floor Lamps, 2 Table Lamps, Kitchen Utensils, Towels, Home Décor, Personal Items, Soap, Female Feminine products, 2 Large Floor Speakers, Projector, Popcorn Popper, Large Slow Cooker, Pots and Pans, China Set, and Office Supplies. You may contact me for further details or questions.

To Whom It May Concern,

Here at Arbor Terrace Citrus Park Independent Living, we have many residents in the chaos of major moves and life transitions into senior living. The Pathfinder Downsizing Solutions group has been an incredible solution to easing the chaos of our residents’ transitions. They have gone above and beyond the call of duty for every one of our residents that they have worked with and have become major players in their overall happiness and satisfaction with their new community. Without them, I do not believe we would have some of the residents we do. Their services decreased the workload on the resident, allowing them to breathe easier and look forward to the move instead of dread it.

We could not be more thankful for their efficient and individualized services. The Pathfinder’s will always be one of our number one recommendation for our future move ins and even moveouts. From their outstanding customer service, to their elbow grease and hard work, to their follow-up even months after the move, they have become prominent figures within our community that we are forever grateful for.

To Whom It May Concern,

It is with great pleasure that I recommend the services of Pathfinders Downsizing Solutions. As the Director of Sales & Marketing with Brookdale Senior Living, I have had the opportunity, on numerous occasions, to personally refer Path Finders to current and prospect residents.

Both Renee and Janeen are most knowledgeable, trustworthy and professional from the first introduction through the move in process and beyond. I consider Path Finders to be more a partner than a vendor.

Please feel free to call on me for any additional questions or references for this valuable resource and committed professional team.

Good morning Janeen!

Yesterday I experienced the super powers of the Girl Power of Pathfinders! Angela and Kelly were amazing!

I witnessed them constantly strategizing moment to moment, starting at onset of the day, to make this work!  Thank you Janeen for being an integral part of making my seemingly impossible move possible!  I appreciate you and this Biz you’ve created! Around mid day yesterday I mentioned to the ladies how supportive you’ve been and how you gave me such relief when you told me you’d make it “easy peezy lemon squeezy!”  And then Angela told me she is your sister. How cool! Y’all are all such positive and encouraging folks!  Angela and Kelly worked sooo hard all day in the heat and were so sweet and encouraging to each other and to me every moment! Thank you so much for the great experience!  I don’t know what I would have done without y’all!!!!

I am a very happy and relieved and satisfied customer!

I am so pleased to recommend Janeen Salzgeber, Renee Brunelle and the entire Pathfinders organization! I have been working with the Pathfinders for nearly 3 years and they have helped many of my new residents get settled in their new home. They are professional, efficient, and reliable.

Every new resident who uses their services raves about their experience, and I have never had one complaint. They offer a variety of services and residents can pick and choose what services they need.

In addition to offering superior service, the Pathfinders take extra care to donate unwanted items responsibly and thoughtfully. I love that they look for a new “home” for special items instead of taking them to the dump. They are patient, caring and charitable and that makes a big difference when you work with seniors.

It is my pleasure to wholeheartedly recommend their services.

First of all, we can’t thank you enough for working with us with Dad’s move that transitioned into cleaning out his apartment. You took a stressful time and made it so much easier for everyone. You and your team were wonderful. I saw pictures of the final move out and Triton Hauling did a great job too…..

Thanks again for all your help.

Janeen, Renee, and their team facilitated a move for our father while my brother and I were trying to coordinate the process from out-of-state. They took care of everything in scheduling the moving company and meeting up with our father’s realtor, and subsequently getting his entire room setup perfectly at his assisted living facility. They did an outstanding job and we highly recommend their services!
