These are both hectic and precious times for families. We have a heart for clearing a path for our clients so they can embrace laughter, memories and love – life’s important gifts.
Renée Matthews
Co-Founder
Renée has over twenty years of experience in the Senior Living Industry as both a Marketing Director and Executive Director. Her background on extra items that can be added to make the space more favorable for the client has been a great asset to Pathfinders. Additionally, she has both Bachelor and master’s degree focused on Senior Wellness.
Renée has been an active part of the military community after marrying her late husband Travis. Pathfinders is named after him since he was an Army Pathfinder plus Ranger and Green Beret. She was instrumental in starting the Yellow Ribbon Campaign at the Florida State Capitol. Since moving to Tampa over twelve years ago, she has supported USSOCOM, SOCCENT, 6th & 927th Wings.
Currently serves as one of the Board of Director members for the 927th Reserve Wing & the Chairperson for the Surviving Spouse Committee at MacDill.
Janeen Salzgeber

Have you ever been on a long trip and arrived safely to your designation without remembering exactly how you got there in that moment? But then, with a little reflection you can recall the intersections and hills and forks in the road that brought you where you are.
Having been blessed to be a caregiver for loved ones, a designer, a mom, a daughter and a wife, Janeen can see how her experiences and education has brought her to help create Pathfinders Downsizing Solutions. Janeen has two bachelor’s degrees, one in Corporate Communication and the other in Interior Design.
With over 2 decades in the interiors industry, it means everything to give space meaning to those that use it. She loves the challenge of creating that comfortable feeling from the items that mean the most while providing the most function in the new “right-sized” home. Celebrating a life of stories to be told and yet to be experienced.
Angela
Angela has been with us for over 4 years. She coordinates scheduling for us and is also a Team Lead, working directly with the clients to help listen, support, and implement the plan for the packing, move and resettling. She attended USF and earned her degree in Communications. Angela home-schooled and graduated her three grown children and uses her innate ability to teach, educate and organize our clients in the most magical way – She’s like Mary Poppins!
Stacie
Stacie is another of our Team Leaders and has also been with us for over 4 years. She attended UCF and leverages her bachelor’s degree in Interpersonal Communications daily with our clients to provide them with both excellent experience and service as they begin their new chapter. She is a military wife and mom of two, almost grown children and uses her natural ability to listen, develop and adapt to each client’s goals and expectations. Although she denies it, we think she was the best cheerleader in school!
